West of Scotland Liberal Democrat MSP Ross Finnie has praised the hardworking staff of the Inverclyde Delivery Office on a recent visit.
Mr Finnie visited Inverclyde's Delivery Office on Friday and was given a tour of the facility by Local Delivery Office Manager Kevin Barclay and was shown the complicated and hard work the postmen and women of Inverclyde do every day.
"It was great to get a tour of this busy delivery office and see first hand the hard work the postmen and women of Inverclyde put in to deliver our mail on a daily basis.
"Many of the public don't appreciate that whilst private contractors like TNT win postal contracts it's actually Royal Mail who carry out the deliveries. The office was very busy and of course it will get twice as busy over the Christmas period.
"The postal workers of Inverclyde deserve the highest praise for their hard work and particularly over the festive period."
