West of Scotland Liberal Democrat MSP Ross Finnie is supporting the Cross out Child Poverty in Scotland Campaign.
To coincide with St Andrew's day next Monday, Glasgow the Caring City Charity has launched the Cross out Child Poverty campaign. The Charity's aim is to highlight the issue of Child Poverty in Scotland and wants to see children across Scotland Given a better future.
"I am in full support of the Cross out Child Poverty in Scotland Campaign. The number of children living in Poverty in Scotland is our secret shame.
"Child Poverty is not just due to a lack of money, it also stems from a lack of education, health care, suitable childcare facilities and poor living standards.
"I will continue to press the SNP Government in Parliament to commit to tackling this major problem and urge everyone in the West of Scotland to support this important campaign.
