West of Scotland Liberal Democrat MSP Ross Finnie has praised Clydebank Museum's latest exhibition to mark the official end of the Second World War.
The World War Two exhibition runs from August 15th to November 7th 2009. To mark the official end of the Second World War this exhibition provides background to the war and a pictorial history of the impact of this global conflict on West Dunbartonshire.
"This is a wonderful exhibition that highlights the bravery and resilience that the people of West Dunbartonshire showed during the blitz.
"The exhibition shows the experiences that most people's great grandparents had to live with to protect our wonderful society.
"I would like to encourage all the local people from Clydebank, especially the younger generation to visit the Clydebank Museum and gain a better understanding of the sacrifices people had to make during the Second World War."
