In a report published by the HM Inspectorate of Education (HMIE) Knoxland Primary School received three good ratings and two very good ratings. The wide range of experiences for children to achieve during school and out of school hours and the Leadership of the head teacher were also praised in the report.
Commenting Mr Finnie said:
"I was very pleased to read such an outstanding HMIE report on Knoxland Primary School.
"The report highlights Knoxland Primary's excellent use of ICT with the pupils using the resources confidently for a range of purposes from creating digital animations and movies to carrying out research and giving presentations.
"Knoxland Primary School is a wonderful school with a first rate staff, lead by a dedicated head teacher and I have no doubt that with some minor improvements in some areas, Knoxland Primary will continue to go from strength to strength."
