FINNIE PRAISES RENFREWSHIRE'S CONTINUED COMMITMENT TO FAIRTRADE

West of Scotland Liberal Democrat MSP Ross Finnie has praised Renfrewshire's continued commitment to Fairtrade and has submitted a motion in the Parliament celebrating Renfrewshire's first world Fairtrade day as a Fairtrade zone.

Commenting Mr Finnie said:

"It is fantastic that even though Renfrewshire was recently made a Fairtrade zone there commitment to Fairtrade is stronger than ever, with campaigns for more Fairtrade across Renfrewshire continuing.

"The hard work and dedication of the Fairtraders across Renfrewshire is continuing to change the lives of some of the world's poorest people.

"I have submitted a motion in Parliament celebrating Renfrewshire's first world Fairtrade day as a Fairtrade zone and praising Renfrewshire's continued commitment to Fairtrade."
