West of Scotland Liberal Democrat MSP Ross Finnie has praised the work of staff and pupils at St Patrick's primary school.
In a report published by the HM Inspectorate of Education (HMIE) St Patrick's primary school received seven very good ratings and seven good ratings. The curriculum, learning experiences and the care, welfare and development of the pupils were also praised in the report.
"I was pleased by the report by the HM Inspectorate of Education on St Patrick's primary school.
"This report further highlights the good work of the teachers and the staff of the school, who continue to provide a high standard of teaching and support to their pupils.
"St Patrick's primary is a very impressive school and with a few improvements could become one of the top primary schools in the country.
